Highly Recommend

I filed a chapter 7 case and Jon was extremely knowledgeable and helped every step of the way. He told me all of the possible outcomes and was available whenever I had any questions. He truly cared about my case and I am really grateful for him!

Jon Saved Me!!

Jon Clarke SAVED ME from a very unfortunate situation that my ex-husband left me in. Not only had I filed for divorce, but I had zero financial help due to my ex being fired from his job, stripped of his professional license, and leaving me with a mountain of debt, a home to care for and 3 children ...to provide for… all on my small income. I felt like there was no way out… like everything I had worked my entire life for was falling apart due to the choices of someone else. This is when I started researching the possibility of bankruptcy. I reached out to Jon Clarke and he was very responsive and set up a meeting with me very quickly. He thoroughly explained my options and provided me with the moral support that I needed during this extremely daunting time. He very efficiently managed my case and after the Trustee Meeting, it was determined that I had a no asset report - meaning that I had to pay ZERO to the trustee!! I got to keep my home and all of my equity in the home. Jon worked hard to win this outcome for me…. And I was allowed to keep my home for my children. One year post bankruptcy, I just re-financed my home at an excellent rate and I purchased a car!! I am well on my way back to financial security and I owe it all to Jon Clarke. Please do not trust a situation like this to just any attorney out there!! You need someone that you feel safe with and that will get you the second chance you deserve!! YOU deserve the best… Jon Clarke!!

Turn Your Life Around with Jon Clarke

The downturn economy from 2008 finally caught up with me, my wife and kids and in 2011. We were forced to look at filing bankruptcy. I had lost my position as a VP and my wife could not find work. We spoke with a number of BK attorneys and were referred by one to Jon Clarke. We had our first phon...e call with Jon in June of 2011. In Sept 2011 we filed Chapter 7. The house was steadily moving to foreclosure at the same time and our finances were in ruin. Jon calmly and confidently walked us through what we could expect. When we finally met with the trustee and Jon was there and handled it like the pro he is. While filing was not something we were proud of it was our only shot at rebuilding the our lives. In Feburary 2012 our case was dismissed and we could breathe again. I finally acquired a new position in Sept 13 and my wife got a job as well. We saved our home in November 2014 with a refinance program. The lien on the second was dropped by the bank in December 2014. While our credit is not what it was we still were able to buy a car and do the little things that lets you know you are alive. I am sharing this because while it may not look like you can survive bankruptcy you need to know you can and if you put it in Jon Clarkes capable hands you will in the end have your life back and a new friend and advisore who really cares. I highly recommend Jon to anyone considering bankruptcy.

As a bankruptcy lawyer, out of 5 possible stars, I give Jon Clarke 10 stars in all categories.

We were holding our own, slowly paying down our debt and then....all of the credit card companies jacked our interest rates above 24%, like they did to everyone across the country. Without warning or notifying me, Chase cancelled the credit card I was using to travel out of state for my job - even ...though my payments were current. We were paying out over $1000 / month in medical bills, and then the final straw - my job ended - for over 7 months. Our savings were already exhausted due to medical bills from a lengthy illness that eventually led to disability. We finally gained some financial relief, because Medicare / social security became available, but it was a painful and lengthy process to qualify - and too late to be of much value when I lost my job. We had no idea what to do - sell the house? File for bankruptcy? We didn't know, but started searching the internet for bankruptcy information and lawyers to see what we could learn. We found Jon Clarke's website among others, but what drew us to Jon's site is that I wasn't full of hype - it was a no-nonsense site, that provided enough information to suggest what we should/could do next, AND I didn't start to be stalked with annoying emails 10 minutes after I visited the site like I did from the others. Without question, Jon was true to the impression I captured from his website - no nonsense, not a used car salesman, and he was right up front and accurate about all costs. We paid what he said it would cost the first time I met him. By the time I talked to Jon in person, we had already put every dime we had left into making the house payments. We had to borrow the money we needed to pay for Jon's services and court fees, but compared to the alternatives, Jon was by far the lowest priced option. The service Jon provided to us in preparing for and guiding us though our Chapter 7 bankruptcy was exceptional - not just good, because when we went to court, everything was in place; we were prepared to answer questions, all documents were in order; there were no surprises. Our day in court clearly demonstrated Jon's experience and expertise with the entire process, but what really stood out as Jon began presenting our case in court, was the court's familiarity with Jon as an attorney. Jon knew all of the magistrates in the bankruptcy court, and intentionally timed the filing of our paperwork with the court to give us a better chance of appearing before one who he knew would be fair and reasonable in applying the law to our situation. Because Jon understands the law and how it applied to us, we were successful in having our debt discharged, able to remain in our home, able to retain most of what we owned, and able to go forward with our lives without the worry and harassment we received from out creditors. What we liked most about working with Jon Clarke is his honesty, integrity, and professionalism. Without question, what you see is what you get, and he's very good at what he does. It took us over a month to get all of the paperwork together that had to be loaded into the electronic filing system, and we almost missed the deadline for filing at the optimal time, but Jon and his office staff made the effort over and above what we could reasonably expect to get the documents entered and filed with the court on time. We can't thank Jon and his staff enough for what they did on our behalf - we received excellent value for our investment in his services. It's been 4 years since our debt was discharged, and we are still in our home and still recovering from an impossible situation. We are convinced that without Jon Clarke's expertise and guidance, our situation would still be impossible.
