I filed bankruptcy 6 years ago and included some, but not all, of the 1040 income tax that was owed. I filed a Chapter 13, so I paid back a good portion of what I owed through a 5 year bankruptcy agreement. When I was finished with the 5 year plan I started getting notices from the IRS that I still o...wed $14,000! My bankruptcy attorney was long gone at this point. Kathryn and her assistant, Amy, went to bat for me. They discovered that my bankruptcy attorney failed to include two years (way back in the early 2000's). I thought I was stuck with all of it. I then received a call from Amy indicating that I was accepted for a payment plan of just $82 a month to pay of a balance of only $6,000. I am very thankful they were able to wipe out more than 1/2 of my bankruptcy attorney's mistake. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a small company that does great work and really cares about their clients.
