I've utilized the services of Elizabeth Kreis as mediator for over 15 years, along with many of my colleagues. She is always well prepared and determined to help alleviate the stress of divorce - child custody. I am very grateful to have found Ms. Elizabeth Kreis to represent me for my divorce and child custody proceedings. Ms. Kreis did an amazing job representing me to opposing counsel, as well as, to the Court’s judges & representatives during a very stressful time. She was always very well prepared a...nd made sure I was well prepared for the court proceedings. I highly recommend anyone in need of an excellent divorce attorney to contact and use Ms. Kreis. In my case (as a single father), Ms. Kreis represented me extremely well, but most importantly she also assisted me by helping my daughter get time with me (as her father). Ms. Kreis, helped me get the parenting time and decision making factors that I was not otherwise getting prior.

We used Liz rather than the court appointed mediator in hopes of getting our case settled out of court. What a disappointment. After reviewing her website and reading "Due to her wealth of experience, insights and understanding, she can rapidly access the best course of action, offer new suggestions ...and perspectives many parties have not considered and help you to navigate the system more rapidly and less expensively", my experience was far from that. Her suggestions and perspectives were more like bullying tactics to get us to agree to the opposing party. I had offered several compromises, but at the end of the day the opposing party still came back with their original offer, and Liz had not recognized that that offer had not changed any by the time we ran out of time. In the end, after paying her plus attorneys on both sides for a full day, it was a costly exercise without any resolution on the separation agreement. The parenting plan was completed, but we could easily have done that outside of mediation because there were no disputes and her part in that was merely exchanging the drafts back and forth between the two parties.

"Liz" knows her buisness, she help me out of what I thought was a hopeless situation with an ugly seperation. Helped me to prepare myself, provide necessary documentation and kept things simple. Being male I feared the worst in regard to divorce. She had the insight to speak reality and practicallity... with the opposing atorney, and ultimately turned the tables in court when false statements and accusations were made against me personally and financially. She disproved these things in court and with reconition from the judge, provided me with a final decision better than what I could have ever expected. All that a a very reasonable cost. I would recomend Liz to anyone.
