Philip E. Mullin

Mr. Philip Mullin was legally retained and paid $21K to represent myself and my family. However, the day before our trial, Mr. Mullin advised us that he failed to file any motions on my family’s behalf and, as a result, we lost our case on a technicality. In other words, since Mullin missed the court...'s deadline to file his legal documents on my family’s behalf, we lost automatically and never had the opportunity to present our case to the presiding judge.. Afterwards, I discussed a reasonable refund with Mr. Mullin, but he laughed at me and told me, “No way, I'm giving you a dime back!" And also stated, "I’m sorry, but time just got away from me.” This was my family’s experience with attorney Philip Mullin of El Paso, Texas. Beware.

He is too old and forgetful to practice. In court, couldn't remember anyone's names...including us, his clients. Made NO attempt to contest the outlandish, unsubstantiated claims by the other party or attorney nor to counter question AT ALL! He took every dime we had and got us nothing. He was terr...ible at getting back with us and when the case hit a roadblock, he literally never returned our calls. NEVER. We are talking 2 1/2 yrs later now. He is so ancient that he tripped in the courthouse, broke a bone and had to have our case postponed, costing me my job. Do you think our PAID ATTORNEY helped me at all?!?! Nope! What a joke!

As nice of a man as he may appear to be, Mr. Mullin needs to retire. I hired him over 7 months ago and still have yet to see any resolution. He has tried to force me into settling a case where child custody is involved in which I have refused. When we went to court he didn't know left from right he h...ad no paperwork that had been sent to his office months earlier...it's just been a mess from the get go. Please save you money and get another lawyer.
