Ok, let me get the blunt part of the whole custody process out of the way first: it is not cheap, it is not quick, you need to be convinced of this, foremost. Also you need to be very involved with your case and your proof and every detail. There is no other way to do this, you're going against the ...system; to do this you need to be very invested, involved and you need one of the best guys out there, Mr Quinonez. What I liked about him is that from the beginning he told me I had a case and took me in, he'll be honest about your chances. Be patient. It took me 3 years to get to this; this is not an easy process and sometimes court dates get moved and/or court dates are too far in-between, this is not a fast process, Family Court is overburden as it is, be very patient and although you will be billed only for the time used on your case, you know the money is being used in a productive way, and although it isn't super expensive, you need to be ready. You got to know, your case is not the Court's or Mr. Quinonez only case, but at least he and his team will accommodate your questions or comments in a timely manner, either by the MyCase app/site, by phone or you can schedule a meeting with him. This guy is very dedicated. We sometimes worked on getting ready on off hours and even weekends. Can't stress this enough. Be involved with your case. Mr. Quinonez will learn almost every detail of your case by heart, but ultimately you are the one providing him with the "ammunition to go to war" of sorts, this way he will have a much better way of doing the "lawyer thing" with facts, statements, text messages, pictures, videos, any kind of proof..he's very smart and intuitive, but you need to feed him of all these things, that should be obvious. Don't lie. Mr. Quinonez is empathetic, I got the feeling he has to believe in you and your case in order to take it. I feel that's a good thing, seems like a principle thing, not a money thing. Do not try to produce false evidence, it will be counterproductive and may affect your case deeply. Mr. Quinonez comes to life in the court room. He has a quiet demeanor, he's not overly aggressive, but he doesn't need to. In court you will see how all those things you gathered up for your case and him, come to life on how he exposes them and links them together; his intuition and how he gauges the Judge, the other party and my evidence and even myself, frankly impressed me a lot. In a nutshell, he will fight for you and your cause, he will be very dedicated and smart and compassionate.
