Kimberly Norvell Miller was raised in the Dallas area. She earned her Bachelor of the Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Texas at Austin. She earned her Doctorate of Jurisprudence, with Distinction, from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento, California, where she received the Witkin Award in Legal Process, honors in Trial Advocacy, and was awarded membership in the Traynor Society. She also acted as a teaching and research assistant and wrote for the Transnational Lawyer. Ms. Norvell Miller is licensed to practice in the states of Texas, New Mexico, and California, and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Texas. In addition to her work as an attorney with the firm of Hicks & Llamas, P.C., Ms. Norvell Miller is an Instructor for the Paralegal Certificate Course at the University of Texas at El Paso. She is also active in the El Paso community as a member of the Junior League of El Paso and the Secretary/Treasurer of the Greater El Paso Football Showcase. On her days off, Ms. Norvell Miller enjoys reading, karaoke, white water rafting, and stamping her passport with the National Park Travelers' Club.
