I hired Maria for my divorce it took her 10 months to get the temporary orders. The only thing she knows very well is TO CHARGE. She charged me a ton of money overinflating the times spent on my case. Never call to update me on the case. Months with out doing nothing. She will make decisions witho...ut consulting me. She drags the case as much as she can to spend more time and charge more. Very Disrespectful (even with the judge) she does not talk she screams.

I would most Definitelly NOT recommend this litigator to anyone, not even my worst enemy. 3 years ago, I started with Child support areers of about $13,700, and after 4 painful hearings I ended up with about $20,000.00 in arreers, plus her expenssive attorney fees and 4 trips to El Paso, TX. It was ...almost impossible to speak directly with her. She never returned my calls. According to her syster Sonia Ramirez, ex-paralegal, and current Paralegal Gloria Rosado, she was frequently sick with the flu most of the time, or their Computer Network was down or they were having computer problems, there was always something. She would always wait until the last minute to reply to court summons and ask for extensions, mostly because she forgot the scheduled court hearing. I would have been better off not hiring this self called attorney and using a court appointed attorney, or nothing at all. Don't waste your time, effort and hard-earned money with this litigator.

How long should a divorce proceeding lat that is uncontested? I will let everyone know as soon as I am divorced. It has been 7 months and 5 days thus far since the divorce was filed. She does not keep me posted on any updates. Perhaps it is out of her hands, but the least she could do is give her cl...ient a call. She has called me twice in seven months, though; once to sign paperwork and another to go to court just to be turned away because the documents in my case (which were presented to the judge by the way) were incomplete!!! I understand pro bono services are to be appreciated, but this is ridiculous. It is my understanding she is a judicial candidate; she has definitely lost my vote.
