Absent, dismal and cowardly attorney.

A true coward in more ways than one. A couple of years ago I hired Mr. Rago to take on a bogus harassement case. Paid $1500.00 for his services at the time. Never spoke with him, only his investigator. The investigator was excellent. However Mr Rago never had any contact with me directly or ...I with him. I seemed to be designed that way on purpose by this office. I was told case would be dismissed based on what was presented in the complaint. However pre-trial court dates would come and go and I would not receive notifications from him or his staff that they were coming up. I was the one that would log in repeatedly to the system to find out that my dates were approaching. Otherwise I would have missed them. Sometimes I would get a call a few minutes before the hearing was to start. Every time I would call for updates or progress, no response or no results provided. If it wasn't for me inquiring I would have no information. On his contract or agreement that you sign upon hiring him, there is a clause that states that if you make repeated inquiries to his office, there is a fee that may be assessed to you. It appears that returning calls, or progress updates are not priority and that if you keep asking why they are not responding, their response could be a fee to you. Long story short, THE THINGS I WAS TOLD WOULD HAPPEN DID NOT. I was also told to pay fees for subpoenas. I paid and was told they filed it to the wrong company and that I would have to pay again for them to send it to the right people. I insisted the fault was not mine and they claimed they filed it to the right place later on. However, there was no documentation for the results of the supposed 2nd subpoena. I had to take it upon myself to negotiate on my own when I was ultimately told by Mr Ragos office that if I wanted them to truly give me the results I was promised from the beginning, I would have to pay $4000.00 more or I could pick another attorney. I chose not to pursue the matter further since HIS SERVICES WERE DISMAL. I agreed to some courses and more fees to simply get this nonsense over with. I negotiated some courses off on my own without his help since he ignored my request to do so. A final note, on the last court date my case was being presided by a different judge than the one I had been assigned. When I put up a counter argument based on what I was told to me by the original judge, the prosecuting attorney raised his voice and threatened Mr. Rago by telling him he would "the deal" if I kept insisting on what the original judge advised me directly. Mr Rago instead of standing up and fighting for me , his client, he told me the "back and forth" was nonsense and to accept. HE WAS A TRUE COWARD. Don't know if he currently is. My opinion is that it was a waste of my time and more importantly my money for something I could have done with a public defender on my own. Again all of this is my opinion.

Custodial arrangements

Jeff Rago and associates went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of. I was able to fight and get everything When it came the custody and visitation agreements for my boys. I will never be able to show enough of my gratitude. Jeff never backed down and made sure that not only I was of... main importance but so were the well being of my boys. He showed up over and over to stand up and make sure everything was set in order. I highly recommend Mr.Rago, without him I would have not made it through the entire process. He made sure to always answer my questions with reassurance and in a timely matter. If you ever need help in this department he is definitely your man. Payments were easy and affordable.

possesion of 82 pounds of marajauna with intent to distribute federal case

I was scared & confused about the system i have a family house a music carrer i need to obtain & my public defenders just looked at me like a regular case number & did not lay down any facts but after going in & talking about my case Mr.Rago he made me feel a sense of peace made me feel he was the ri...ght lawyer to fight for me so i will now hire him as my attorney & have no regrets he laid down all the options & made me feel comfortable in trusting him to fight for my freedom i would recommend him he is a straight foward attorney but willing to fight for you. I will give a update after my case is settled i wouldn't think twice about hiring Mr.Rago he takes in all aspects & is on your team

Service is horrible

Jeff Rago is not a good attorney. We have been fighting for vistation rights for a year and we have not gotten any type of rights as of today. He never made himself available to speak with us regarding the case. He pretty much agreed with whatever the defendant recommended. I would never recommend hi...m to anyone.

I have no idea who you are as you are clearly not my client. If you feel I have done something wrong please let me know. There are numerous factual inaccuracies, namely you not receiving any rights as of today or speaking to me about the case. If you are claiming I have not spoken to you, ever, that is clearly a lie since a family law case ongoing for a year would have numerous hearings or it would be dismissed by the Court. Further, to agree with whatever the "defendant" has recommended is impossible since that would be on a criminal case. If you clearly are a client please make yourself known as I have no cases that we have been fighting for a year and have not gotten good results and also have not spoken with our client. When did you hire? What is your name? Who is the "defendant"? If you are not willing to identify yourself and your case please remove your post as you clearly are not a client.

Great Lawyer

I hired Mr. Rago to protect me for being wrongfully accused. I was arrested and he got me out on a very good bond quickly. Then he was able to show the prosecutor the lies and inconsistencies in the complaining witnesses stories resulting in a dismissal of all charges. Great job.
