after hiring Mr. Benjamin, I was immediately passed to his at-the-time partner, Mr. Nunez, who I respected and trusted to take my case to trial. Then after a few months, I was told Mr. Nunez was no longer with The Benjamin Law firm and received a call from Mr. brock benjamin, who never went over my c...ase with me. His first and only question to me was," when should he expect the remaining balance to be paid ." I asked if he could give me 30 days. He then said, "No, I got a week". After using all resources to get the remaining balance together, I was surprised with a motion to withdraw from Brock. I was able to get the remaining balance paid the day of the motion to withdraw hearing and he then withdrew the motion to withdraw. However after that, I might have gotten one call from him where he notified me of a plea offer the DA had presented. I was with the mindset to go to trial, however, Brock seemed to keep advising me to take the plea. Knowing I'm innocent but not very confident in my representation for the trial I went ahead and agreed to the plea. Only because Brock mention that I sign the plea and when I arrived at my plea hearing I would still have to option to decline the plea, after two continues I was unable to make it on the third as well due to testing positive for Covid-19, a week before my hearing and then having to get emergency surgery done to my mouth due to an infection I got immediately after testing positive for covid I was unable to make it to El Paso for my plea hearing. And instead of Mr. Benjamin motioning for another continuance, He left me out to dry, telling the judge a lie saying that I was unable to make it due to not having the funds for a flight. Even though I emailed him my Covid test and a Dr. signed written notice stating that I had mouth surgery and would be unable to be back to normal activities until the day of the court hearing. I Would Not recommend hiring this guy. He's only out to get paid furthermore He's all about his money and could care less about his clients

Mr Benjamin was recommended to my family after a domestic violence case was made. He always answered calls and questions in a quick courteous manner; even after office hours. For example, I was told I would have had to go to Texas for court at least three or four times.
