I am board certified in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Speciliazation. . That means I'm one of very few attorneys who can say "I specialize in criminal law." My practice is primarily state and federal criminal law and appeals.
I grew up in the small southern Arizona border city of Douglas, Arizona. I joined the U.S. Army and served in as a U.S. Army Ranger in the 2nd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment at Fort Lewis, Washington and then with the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR) at Fort Campbell Kentucky.
After the military, I went to law school and started out doing plaintiff's legal malpractice, suing other attorneys/ lawyers who had committed some form of fraud or breached a fiduciary duty to their clients. While with that firm, I second chaired two million dollar plus cases, one of which took over 5 weeks to try.
I subsequently moved to El Paso, Texas where I was an Assistant District Attorney and served in the office's "Family Violence Unit," where I tried over 20 domestic violence or Assault Causes Bodily Injury (AFV) trials to a jury.
As of June 1, 2010, I opened the Benjamin Law Firm and handle state and federal criminal, civil and appeal cases, and I am going to use my experience to benefit you, my next client.

Only in it for the money
after hiring Mr. Benjamin, I was immediately passed to his at-the-time partner, Mr. Nunez, who I respected and trusted to take my case to trial. Then after a few months, I was told Mr. Nunez was no longer with The Benjamin Law firm and received a call from Mr. brock benjamin, who never went over my c...
Paul, I’m sorry that you feel the way that you do. I take all my cases seriously and in the end, as you stated, the client is the final decision maker. You made a decision that you’ve outlined above. We did not represent to the court you did not have funds and as we discussed you’re able to order the transcript of what was represented to the court. You have my cell phone number and are welcome to contact me, you know I’ll help you as best I can.

Most humble lawyer I’ve ever met
Mr Benjamin was recommended to my family after a domestic violence case was made. He always answered calls and questions in a quick courteous manner; even after office hours. He allowed us to make payments to his law firm every month which we are so greatful for because then the case would have proba...

Diligent and Thoughtful Attorney
I hired Mr. Benjamin for legal representation regarding legal troubles I got into while working in a correctional setting. Mr. Benjamin did not see me as another case#. He kept me updated throughout every step and fought hard for me. As a result, I am not incarcerated and he got me the best outcome I...

I like this lawyer's "tell it like it is" honesty and confidence (obviously from experience) in knowing the answers to my question. I feel much better about knowing what to do with my situation, and I'm glad I made the call. Many thanks!

Criminal Defense advice session
I've just spoken with Brock Benjamin regarding a very serious and complex case, and he was exceptionally attentive to the details of my case and very blunt and honest in his advice. He has given me a realistic idea of what the probable outcome of my case will be, as well as advising me of the most di...
"I endorse this lawyer. I have known Brock for many years and have had many opportunities to see him in action in court. He is always prepared and does a great job for his clients. He fights for his clients and anyone would be well served choosing him to defend them in court."
"I endorse this lawyer. Brock is an elite lawyer and trial attorney, who is also extremely personable. He takes a unique and tailored approach to each of his cases."
"I endorse this lawyer. Mr. Benjamin provides excellent representation for his clients. I highly recommend him."
"I worked with Brock as a Prosecutor, and against him as opposing counsel when he started his own firm. Brock is a very conscientious attorney. I endorse Brock Benjamin."
"I know Brock Benjamin to be knowledgeable and thorough in his work. I have worked both with and against him. I recommend my clients to him when I can not represent them for any reason, such as a conflict or their case is in New Mexico where I am not licensed."
"Mr. Benjamin is an extremely talented, level headed individual. I had the pleasure of working with him on several cases when he was a prosecutor for the El Paso district attorney's office, and he was always sharp, polished, and fair. He is an exceptional attorney with a good moral compass."
