We apologize that you were not satisfied fully with your service. There are only two ways that Orders come about, either by agreement or the court's ruling. By agreement, the client is in control of what agreement results, if the court rules, the client loses control. It is common for clients to seek more face to face time with the attorney and we are pleased to meet more frequently with our clients; however, often the client prefers to communicate with the paralegals and support staff because their hourly rate is reduced and we aim to keep you within your allotted budget. As you mentioned emails, they are an affordable and efficient manner of communication.

Thank you for your feedback. An Amicus Attorney is appointed by the Court and is a Friend of the Court. As such, they have no client and can only take direction from the Court. This is oftentimes confusing to parties. In the future, I will make sure to communicate the role of an Amicus more effectively to the parents.
