Biography
Royce has been licensed to practice law in Texas since 1998. He has lived in Odessa and Lubbock and opened these West Texas offices for our law firm. He earned his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Texas at San Antonio and his Juris Doctor at St. Mary's University. Royce is Board Certified in Workers' Compensation Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and has maintained his specialization since the certification was created in 2004.
Royce has participated in informal lobbying efforts with the Texas Legislature fighting for the rights of injured workers since 2005. Royce is a frequent speaker at the State Bar of Texas Annual Workers' Compensation Seminar and has been a member of the planning committee for the seminar since 2010. Royce has also been asked to speak to such groups as the Permian Basin Trial Lawyers Association and various other groups.
Royce focuses the majority of his practice on assisting injured workers in appearances before the Division of Workers' Compensation from San Antonio to Lubbock and Denton to El Paso.
Royce is the principle partner in charge of Workers' Compensation in Texas for the firm and attends Benefit Review Conferences and Contested Case Hearings weekly and monthly for his clients.
