I would give zero stars if I could. I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Mark Threadgill. I hired him for a high-stakes family law matter involving my child, and he appeared unprepared at a critical court hearing. Basic facts and issues in my case were not clearly presented, and I felt... compelled to step in and explain my own situation to the judge. Communication throughout the case was poor. Important emails went unanswered, follow-ups were not acted on, and preparation steps discussed in advance of the hearing were not completed. When I raised concerns, I was redirected to staff instead of receiving clear or timely answers. At the hearing, I was placed in the position of having to decide on the spot whether to allow him to withdraw, without meaningful guidance, despite the seriousness of the matter. This left me without representation and scrambling to protect my child’s best interests. After the withdrawal, I requested an itemized billing statement and was told it existed in the client portal when it did not. Transparency and accountability were lacking throughout the process. Despite branding himself as an aggressive advocate, my experience was the opposite. He appeared unprepared at a critical hearing (TRO), did not execute agreed-upon preparation steps, and withdrew when effective representation was most needed. I regret trusting this firm with something as important as a child custody case. I strongly recommend seeking counsel elsewhere.
