Biography
Taylor has been a Texas-licensed attorney for eight (8) years and spent five (5) of those years co-owning Fergus & Tomanka, PLLC with her life & business partner, Martin. For the last 7 years, Taylor has been focusing her practice on helping clients with business formations, custom contracts, prenuptial agreements & post-marital agreements, estate planning, and business succession planning.
Outside of the law, Taylor has a great respect for local nonprofits and believes in helping out in her own community. She has been the President of not one, but two nationally-affiliated nonprofit's local chapters: the Junior League (2019-2020) and Mental Health of America (2020-2022). Prior to taking over the management of these two nonprofits as President, she additionally served as Public Relations Chair, Community Director, Communications Director, President-Elect (in charge of future planning), Past President and Vice President of Advocacy, respectively. She also held a two-year Board membership to the Community Fund Board (part of the Community Foundation of Abilene)(2019-2021).
