If it gets the charge dropped against your friend it will be because the the charge is being leveled against YOU. Hire you lawyer before you do.

No. If you were in custody they would have had to release you. They had 3 years to indict you. Start working on getting a lawyer.

In this state it is 18, not 17, and you would have to be within 2 years of her if she were under 18.
