Our client was wrongfully denied long-term disability benefits by the Defendant, Life Insurance Company of North America (LINA). The client had multiple severe impairments which kept her from being abl ... e to perform full-time work. LINA hired physicians to review our client's medical records and issue an opinion that she could return to work. The Federal Judge found that LINA overlooked objective medical evidence provided by the client, and the medical opinions LINA relied upon misstated evidence. Ultimately, the Judge decided there was not a rational connection between the evidence and LINA's decision to deny our client benefits.
