I was in a desperate situation when I found Madison Donaldson. I had two Long term disability claims which the my former employer and the disability companies refused to pay in full. To make matters worse, I was living in Tennessee which has some of the most poor laws for workers. My lawyer was professional and helpful and definitely could tell she wanted to advocate for my rights. It was great to have someone really research your case and present the facts and advocate for you. For the most part, communication was professional and thorough. The only thing that I was disapp...ointed in was not truly understanding what going to court would mean in terms of long term disability benefits and how the company was only responsible for retro benefits and then typically reassigned you to an active plan only to have a planned review soon after in which typically it was denied. I did not understand this information beforehand and it was a little disheartening to say the least to find it out at the mediation meeting. With that being said, I still would highly recommend this lawyer and her team who dedicated time and effort to presenting the facts and advocating on my behalf.
