Morris and Craven, PLLC, is among the oldest and most-established personal injury law firms in Austin.  Charles “Lefty” Morris (deceased), a former president of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, brought John Craven to the firm in 1976 and added Tim Sulak* in 1980.  Together they developed a reputation for practicing personal injury law with honesty, competence, professionalism and service to their clients as officers of the court and strong, but fair, advocates for those injured by accidents caused by the wrongdoing of others.  They have earned the respect of the legal community, both from their opponents and referring lawyers, many of whom have hired the firm to represent them and their families. 

The law firm handles all types of personal injury claims, including product liability, trucking and automobile collisions, construction accidents, medical negligence, premises liability, unfair insurance company practices, and employment discrimination and sexual harassment, as well as other cases involving serious injury and wrongful death.  We have successfully resolved cases against some of the nation’s largest manufacturers of vehicles and drugs, utility companies, insurance companies and other corporate defendants. 

Our experience in investigating and preparing complex injury cases, coupled with our team approach and individualized client attention have produced verdicts and settlements which have restored a measure of responsibility, dignity and compensation to literally hundreds of deserving clients for more than 30 years.

The firm usually takes meritorious cases on a contingent fee basis, so that individuals may obtain the type of legal talent and expertise necessary to challenge wealthy, powerful defendants and their insurance companies.  Under this arrangement, the fee is a percentage of the recovery, with no fee being charged unless there is a successful outcome for our clients.  Case expenses and court costs are deducted from the client’s settlement at the conclusion of the case, only in the event that damages are recovered.
