Excellent!

Kind, considerate, and informative. He is a genuine person. Thank you for all your help on short notice. You were a blessing.

Very knowledgeable

So far Chris has been very responsive to my emails and following up with my questions. He seems to know quite a bit about "the system" and I am hopeful that my case will dissolve here quickly. He seems to truly care about my situation, and that itself is a breath of fresh air. Having an attorney t...hat actually responds and acts like they really care about your situation is very comforting, even if they don't, but I believe he does. I wish I would've hired him from the get go but you can't hire who you don't know so I hope that my review gets his name out there so others can hire an attorney whom they know they can trust.

Crappy lawyer!!!!

This lawyer is VERY rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. After a loooonngggggg time of going through a divorce with Chris McHam representing me, he has literally done nothing. He charges me for the mistakes that HE makes; and then they're not even correct- like misspelling my name and takes MONTHS... to respond to an email and then only writes one sentence and charges me $100 when he didn't even address my concerns. He also doesn't answer the phone when called several times concerning important things. When I'm talking he tells me to "stop talking" and laughs - when I am addressing concerns- very disrespectful. DO NOT USE THIS ATTORNEY!!! He'll take your money and not do anything.

Great Attorney with Excellent Service

I am extremely grateful to attorney Chris McHam! He is rare kind of attorney that answers his phone personally and deals with you one on one! Chris has a comforting confidence that lets you know you are in the best hands. He very knowledgeable and willing to fight if necessary. You will get a top ...notch attorney in Mr. McHam and the best personal service/representation.

Not a Good Family law lawyer

After having Chris as my lawyer regarding a CPS case in which he let them run over him and I ended up having to perform EVERY function they asked for though he said he would get half of it dropped. I do not recommend this "lawyer" for any family suit.

"Chris McHam is one of the most trustworthy attorneys that I have ever known. His intellectual flexibility, rock-solid attention to detail, and commitment to professionalism make him an exceptional performer. He has pursued a practice that allows him to see the broader outlines of the law, predict outcomes with a great deal of intuitive accuracy, and anticipate problems that go beyond the scope of the matter immediately at hand. Even on matters where I hire specialists, I still consult with Chris on an infromal basis because of his unique and visionary ability to anticipate the interaction between various parts of the law. As a result of a recommendation from me, he handled some estate planning for a close friend of mine. Chris was able to look at the client's investments, understand the client's business model, and craft a solution that allowed the two to work in concert. That sort of multi-modal intellectual flexibility is incredibly valuable to achieving client goals."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
