Originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana, Mr. Bertrand’s family moved to Houston in 1990 when he was nine. On graduating from Stephen F.Austin High School in Sugarland, he continued his westward progression, enrolling at Texas State University in San Marcos in2002 where he earned a Bachelor’s degree summa cum laude in Broadcast Communications.
Following graduation, Mr.Bertrand enjoyed a brief stint as a Debit Card Coordinator in the commercial banking industry in Houston before heading to sunny Costa Mesa in Southern California to attend Whittier Law School. It was during his law school years that Mr.Bertrand discovered his passion for estate planning and administration. He graduated magna cum laude in 2006 and immediately returned to Texas to begin a clerkship at The Greening Law Firm, P.C.
Mr. Bertrand received his attorney’s license from the State Bar of Texas in 2007 and has been skillfully serving the clients of The Greening Law Firm, P.C. as a practicing attorney ever since. He enjoys educating the public about the importance of estate planning, both one-on-one and as a speaker for The Greening Law Firm, P.C. Mr. Bertrand finds it extremely gratifying to be able to help people make appropriate plans for the well being of their families and loved ones.
Mr. Bertrand is an active member of the Austin Bar Association and the Austin Young Lawyers Association. When not hard at work, Mr. Bertrand enjoys his other passions: playing guitar and cooking.
