- Demeanor. Kelly is calm and level headed. This helped me think about the issues rationally. She also seems relatively unflappable which was also good for me to see since I was unfamiliar with this domain. She was tremendously professional and represented the firm well. - Expert Guidance and Expec...tation Setting. Throughout the process, she guided me through the main points of the agreement and offered advice on the pros / cons of various decisions. She was thorough in her review of the issues and reaching a conclusion on each point. There were several concerns that I had heading into mediation which she was able to creatively address in the agreement. There were also a few times when she helpfully nudged my expectations back in line with reality. It was always tactfully done and I did not feel judged. - Time Management. She has me prepared well in advance of mediation. She critically evaluated my deliverables to opposing counsel, offered feedback and kept me on track. She also set my timing expectations of how long it would take to start the agreement work as well as work through the various versions of the document before finalizing. - Work with Opposing Counsel. She was always polite working with opposing counsel but was firm on issues both to defend me as well as push when needed.
