Biography
I've dedicated my career to the practice of family law. I strongly believe that divorce is a very personal matter and recognize the difficulty that clients face as they make long-lasting financial decisions, often in the midst of personal turmoil.
Having a knowledgeable attorney is important; but having a strong litigator who knows the law, and understands finances and family dynamics can be the difference between just surviving a divorce and starting a new and better chapter of a client's life.
I work in family law litigation and collaborative family law, I am licensed with the State Bar of Texas, the District of Columbia Bar, and the State Bar of Virginia. I am board certified in Family Law, Texas Board of Legal Specialization 2008 and in 2004 I was named a Texas Rising Star by Texas Super Lawyers and Texas Monthly Magazine. I have been an associate in three firms and Owner/Principle of two, Ravdin & Wofford (Washington, D.C.) and CAPPS LAW FIRM, P.L.L.C. (Austin, TX).
