Biography
I have practiced in the area of Texas state taxation for about 35 years. Since 1983 I have been in private practice representing taxpayers before the office of the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts and other state taxing agencies in challenging state tax audits, assessments, and in prosecuting tax refund claims for taxpayers. I also represent taxpayers in Travis County District Court and in the appellate courts of the State of Texas in prosecuting tax protest cases and defending taxpayers against state tax collection lawsuits. I have been at my present law firm, Stahl, Bernal & Davies since January 1995.
