I called for a consultation. I then went to see him. All he did was just listen to me and he looked at the paper he was going to help me write and did nothing but charged me 660$ for 35 minutes of talking ...was very dissappointed. Before we met he said he could help me with my paper accounting of an... incident and he did nothing

We referred to Mr. Moss and what was supposed be a 30 min. consult was less than 5. He sounded extremely bothered & annoyed when answering the call. He refused to answer the most basic questions and is VERY condescending. After speaking with another referral and deciding to go that direction, I woul...d highly recommend Patrick Sutton and his team. They took the time to listen and were prompt, respectful and concise.

Unfortunately, I hired Stephen Moss to help me with an issue. Nothing but problems with this guy. All he cares about is trying to bill and scam for money. Moss only compounds your problems because of his excessive and dishonest billing practices. Be very careful. Keep looking, there are better and mo...re honest attorneys out there.

I hired Stephen Moss to help me with a legal matter. By far, the worst experience I have ever had with a lawyer. I had similar billing issues someone else alluded to on here in another bad rating for Mr. Moss. Like that person stated, Mr. Moss created more stress and problems for me than the original... issue I hired him for. Moss overcharged for phone calls as well as to read and analyze documents. There were other things Moss overbilled for that were even worse. And, just like the other person said, I ended up paying way too much for very little in return. It was so bad I had to terminate Moss as my attorney after less than 6 months. Yet, even after acknowledging that he was terminated and I had hired a new attorney, Mr. Moss continued to attempt to bill me for “winding down” work for thousands of more dollars over several more months. If you are considering hiring Stephen Moss, I highly encourage you to do your diligent research. Check the Travis county court records at various levels of courts to see if he has attempted to sue some of his former clients over what he claims are “unpaid bills”. My experience with him has been so bad that I had no choice but to file a grievance against him with the state bar.

Called him twice left message twice did no even bother to call back . Ironically waiting on his call looked him up on Facebook to see if I could contact thru that source and interesting to find spends his time posting legal issues now a days but can not answer the phone to a potential client ? Probab...ly on his way to retirement. That’s the problem with experienced attorneys , sadly they lose the passion to fight and us as civilians take the hit . Glad he didn’t answer otherwise might have spent my money for nothing .
