Scott Warden Weatherford

It has been said that “litigation is notoriously time-consuming, inefficient, costly, and unpredictable.” Scott has devoted his commercial litigation practice to providing the opposite experience for his clients. It is rare for people or companies to expect to find themselves besieged in litigation; when that situation arises, however, Scott takes pride in helping his clients navigate the process to a favorable outcome.

Scott has been repeatedly recognized as a Super Lawyer—Rising Star by Thomson Reuters, a recognition bestowed on less than 2.5% of lawyers. He is a fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, which recognizes the top 1/3 of 1% of Texas attorneys each year. He has represented Fortune 500 companies, start-ups, and local business owners in state courts, federal courts, arbitrations, and administrative agencies across the state of Texas. Scott has also successfully tried cases to juries ranging from multimillion dollar corporate disputes to construction cases. With each new case, Scott works to make litigation streamlined, efficient, predictable, and—most importantly–successful.

Born and raised in Dripping Springs, Texas, Scott has lived in the Austin area his entire life—except for a three-year stay in Waco to graduate from Baylor Law’s nationally-ranked trial advocacy program.
