I got a DWI in college and was terrified, having no idea what to do or how to handle it. I hired Richard based on a referral from a friend and he was everything I could have asked for. He was responsive and there with me every step of the way through the entire ordeal. He not only helped me in court ...but also the after parts with community service requirements, classes, and just general advice on how to handle my new situation. He had all the answers I needed and I couldn't have made it through this without him.

I cannot thank this attorney enough for advising me with a misdemeanor charge. He took my call at around 2 o'clock am and immediately advised me what to do. He took a meeting with me the very next morning and my charges were dropped later that week. I would have been absolutely lost without his advis...e and would most likely still be dealing with the charge.

I hired Mr. Gentry for a misdemeanor and a felony that I was charged with, on offenses I didn't commit. I had no previous criminal record. After delaying my case for 10 months, he finally encouraged me to take a felony on my record and 7 years of probation. I hired a different attorney and within 5... weeks both charges were dismissed. This attorney has no business handling criminal law. He's more suited for real estate law, or something that doesn't require a backbone. Do not hire this attorney unless you need him to review a contract for your new house.

I appreciated how this lawyer came to me at a horrid hour in my time of need. He seemed to be there for me, which made me trust him as a lawyer. I paid him a flat fee once I got out of jail, but he really didn't fight for me. He did the minimum, when he really could have gotten my case dismissed.... However, the reason I give him such a poor review is that I found out that he has been discussing my case not only to other lawyers, but to other people- I am sorry but after a case is over, those details are still confidential and shouldn't be made fun of, even if it is with friends.
