I needed a lawyer for a misdemeanor case that happened rather suddenly. Gabe was recommended by a friend, and I had a really easy time with my case because of him. He has been practicing for a long time now and it shows. There isn’t much this guy hasn’t seen before. He would shoot me a text w...hen he needed me to appear in court, and all I needed to do was stand there. I got a fair deal and ultimately the State of Texas dropped the case. I’m leaving this review mainly as a thank you to Gabe, but also to let people know he was worth way more than the rating on here to me.

The review is long overdue. Unfortunately the other reviews are similar to my experience and I should have read the reviews before hiring. Rude, non responsive and we never even had a true conversation or consultation. I was so anxious to hire an attorney that I just paid without doing my research.... If you want an attorney that's going to call you, communicate with you consistently and be patient, prepared and understanding look elsewhere.

The money we paid him was a waste. It was pointless. He misled us on what he would be able and willing to do, changing up the plan multiple times. He wasnt communicative with any of the people i haf willing to show up and support me, nor with me directly and consistently. He was aloof, unprofessional... and a liar.

I have tried and tried to get in touch w/Mr Hernandez and he swears he's working on my case. He never answers his call and when he does, he's very short and is "working on it" but the court papers show otherwise. He apparently only texts but the texts are about as bad as the phone conversations. For ...the people that left good reviews, I don't even know how you got him on the phone. If you're in trouble, find a lawyer that will COMMUNICATE with you and not just repeatedly say "I'm working on it".
