Good criminal defense lawyer

Ms. Jamison was pretty much everything that one might want in a criminal defense attorney, she took care of everything in a timely manner and with limited effort required from her client. I was charged with a third degree felony at the start of my trip to Austin, and jailed. My girlfriend found Ms. J...amison, paid her retainer, and Ms. Jamison took it from there. I had spent probably about 16 hours in jail when I got called down to the visiting space because I had a visit from Ms. Jamison. She got my story, asked me some questions, and told me that she was going to go talk to the judge (at the time it was the magistrate since it was the weekend at the time) to get me out and that if I didn't get out that night she would visit the judge every day to try to get me out. Two hours later I was let out of jail. From there Ms. Jamison continued to fight on my behalf, while I was back home in VA, and handle everything. She got me excused from every single court date, she got the charges dropped, and she answered my questions. Ms. Jamison even charged me for a misdemeanor rather than a felony as she was so confident a felony wouldn't stick. Throughout the whole process she remained confident and reassuring. It was easy to get evidence to Ms. Jamison as well as pay her (she put me on a payment plan) with the online portal her firm uses, I just uploaded documents and submitted payment from my account. The only reason I'm rating 4 stars instead of 5 is because is because most of the time I had to reach out to her for updates, like after a court date, instead of her reaching out to me. However, that being said she was always responsive when I did reach out to her (she gave me her personal number so I could always get in touch with her). I would definitely recommend Ms. Jamison.
