As a young lawyer at the beginning ofmy career, my goal was to achieve “attorney nirvana” which was tobecome the youngest partner at a prestigious law firm on ConnecticutAvenue in our Nation’s Capital. Well, I did that but found I was notparticularly fulfilled or happy. This was no criticism of my olderpartners who were incredibly supportive and mentored me. I just wantedmore. For starters, I wanted to 'plant my own potatoes' and felt I hada better way to do it. My dream was to bring the collegial experienceof a general counsel’s office in government to the private sector withall of the attendant care, client interaction, and yes - fun. Since1996 I have been on an exciting entrepreneurial quest to create a morebusiness-centered and passionate law firm (which sounds like anoxymoron!). At MosterWynne, we call it our “General Counsel Program.”
