’ve had a terrible experience with Carl, I’ve never been arrested before or know how the system works, my brother called Carl Gossett and bailed me out. After I left jail, I called Carl and explained that I don't understand the system and i would like to know what I need to know or you as a lawyer to... inform me of, sadly Carl failed to mention when my court date was and that I needed to show up for it as well as he never made an appointment with me to discuss the case and I personally never knew that I had to sign a paper to make him my lawyer, yet Carl still excepted my monthly payments which totaled to $5000. I gave Carl everything he asked for to help the case which later i found out that all the help he asked for was irrelevant completely. I was moving to Libya and I asked Carl if it was “Okay” for me to leave to be with my family, and he replied “That actually helps your case because by moving you prove that you wont be here to commit another crime”. My mistake was that I put my trust in Carl completely and i left. 2 years later i came back to Texas and i called Carl and his assistant but i got blocked by both of them which was odd because i thought i was in the clear and then i got pulled over for state inspection and the officer told me that there was a warrant for my arrest. I put Carl Gossett as my lawyer and when the court called him, he rejected being my lawyer. After that day i stayed 2 weeks in jail with no bail bond because of what carl did to me and had to get a more trustworthy lawyer that helped me get my case completely dismissed. Carl Gossett robed me of my money and 2 weeks of my freedom, I lost my job because of that and all the pain he caused me will never be forgiven and I to who ever wants to hire Carl just know he is only in it for the money and couldn’t careless about you. No wonder he has a few reviews I am positive the rest of the people who hired him are still in jail or prison.

Mr. G, Your “review” is littered with at least 14 different false claims and shameful lies concerning the facts that surrounded your quite serious case and the events that unfolded. One cool thing about the American criminal justice system is that it is conducted in the public eye. This means that all (most) case information is public record; ie available to the public. If you could be so kind as to provide here the details of your case in question, such as cause number, pc affidavit, final result/outcome (hint: It wasn’t dismissed.) This instantly gives our fellow citizens and good people of the internet the chance to go see for themselves what ACTUALLY happened and why. The Travis County District Clerk has documentation of everything that transpired, which is unfortunate for you and your completely dishonest (and also downright bizarre) allegations directed at me. Mr. G, I will concede that the current world we live in can be quite chaotic and maddening at times; that being said, THE TRUTH STILL MATTERS. The truth is what keeps our democracy together, it is the glue that holds society in tact. The truth still means something. In fact it means more than something, the truth means everything. I hope you can learn from your mistakes, grow up, take ownership of yourself and your actions, and learn from your mistakes so that you may lead a happy and productive life in the future, Hesham. Based on this wild yarn you’ve spun in your review, it’s clear that you’ve got a lot of work to do. Good luck to you. Be better.

The Man With a Plan

First and foremost- I must state that I have never encountered an attorney able to obtain a straight dismissal for a felony charge in under six weeks; that is until Carl agreed to represent me. Carl sprang to action from day 1 of our consultation: he clearly delineated his plan for my case and spe...cified exactly what it was I would need to do in order to fight this legal headache. Not a day went by when Carl was not on the scene pushing for an outcome in my favor; he continually spoke with paralegals, consulted with the DA's office, and conferred with the Grand Juror while maintaining an air of persistent proffesionalism. He consistently checked in on me and asked for progress updates: community service information, relevant tests, and courses registered/taken. His confidence was difficult to abate as I found myself growing more and more hopeful with respect to my legal standing. His zeal and charisma indubitably bled into the court system for, within six weeks, I found myself thanking him profusely over an order to dismiss my charge. It is clear to me that Carl carries both rapport and weight when negotiating with prosecutors. Though the offense report contained a number of "iffy" things at the hands of the arresting officer (Park Ranger to be exact), the pending charge was no laughing matter. Furthermore, Carl carried around 50 cases during this time of high duress and I cannot recall the number of dismissals he obtained throughout that time. It seemed a weekly endeavor that he would be ecstatic over another dismissal attained and another case won. Suffice it to say, Carl pushes emphatically with unswerving conviction- he is not easily pushed into plea bargaining corners nor does he settle for a par result. He proved to me his ability to mobilize happenings within the court system and I wholeheartedly believe he will do the same for you. Give his a office a call or step in to meet with one of his assistants asap.

Highly competent and motivated lawyer.

Carl went above and beyond to help me with my case, was professional and extremely competent in handling my case. He has always been easy to communicate with and very on top of his game. I never once felt neglected or unheard. I've been very happy working with him and would hire him again in a heartb...eat if I were ever in need of legal counsel.

Professional, On Point and Easy to Talk to

I got a pretty bad traffic ticket, Carl took care of everything and quickly. He was easy to talk to. Made me feel at ease and gave me peace of mind. I never had to go to court of deal with anything. The ticket was dismissed which is priceless to me. I would recommend Carl to anyone.

"As a prosecutor, I worked criminal cases against Carl and found him to be a staunch opponent who fights hard for his clients and gets excellent results. He is respected by judges, prosecutors, fellow defense attorneys, probation officers, and court staff. If I was looking for criminal defense representation, Carl would be on my short list of attorneys to hire."
