Brian Kenneth Gullickson

In May of 2023 I was arrested in Bell County, Texas, and charged with a class B felony by the Sheriff Department during a routine investigation I was performing for a client. I'd heard a lot about how corrupt and backwards that DA and Sheriff are, and I thought I was going to have to represent myself... or rely on one of the local law firms, but I took the advice of a close friend and reached out to Cofer & Connelly. The Sheriff and DA did everything they could to make my case look absolutely horrible; they dragged my name through the mud for almost three years, but Cofer & Connelly still took my case and assigned Mr. Gullickson and Mr. Sylestine to represent me. I made the right call by hiring them, they took my case to trial on August 17th of this year and utterly dominated the corrupt prosecutor, despite the prosecutors numerous attempts to paint me as the most vile criminal imaginable, and now I have been fully acquitted. I get my firearm back this week, I've already had my Private Security license fully reinstated, and they're even fighting to get my charges expunged. After seeing how the DA went after me, I don't think any lesser attorney would have been able to handle the curve balls and the absolute insanity that we saw in that courtroom, which included the DA making a motion to prevent my attorneys from being allowed to speak to me. They gave me my life and my freedom back after three long years of the process being the punishment. I can't thank them enough. Brian represented me very well and helped me through the process of getting my case dismissed.
