American Express sued for an alleged breach of a credit card account on a debt over $200,000, relating to business expenses. My client had legitimate disputes and had tried to resolve the matter with ... AMEX before suit was filed. We defeated AMEX's motion for summary judgment. The case was then sent to mediation and AMEX chose to voluntarily dismiss the case, without my client having to pay anything to AMEX.
