Allison Michelle Tisdale

Licensed in Texas since 2012, Allison Tisdale is a dedicated criminal defense attorney at The Hull Firm in Austin. Born in Corpus Christi, Allison moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas, then went on to earn her law degree at George Mason University in Washington, D.C. She brings over a decade of courtroom experience and insider knowledge to every case she handles.

As a former Travis County prosecutor, Allison served as an Assistant County Attorney and then as an Assistant District Attorney, building her reputation in the courtroom. She worked as chief misdemeanor prosecutor, special prosecutor for complex blood DWI cases, and as the prosecution’s representative for the Travis County DWI Diversion Court. She was named Prosecutor of the Year in 2016 and gained extensive trial experience handling serious felony cases, including intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault.

Allison’s excellence in criminal defense has earned her recognition as a Top Attorney for Criminal Defense by Austin Monthly Magazine for three consecutive years: 2023, 2024, and 2025. She also shares her expertise by training prosecutors, judges, and law enforcement on DWI law and lectures regularly for the State Bar of Texas.
