If he did 37 days in jail, I'd bet it's not a Class C misdemeanor. Either way, it's a conviction, and therefore can't be expunged.

An aggravated sexual assault of a child has no statute of limitations in Texas. Is the victim under 17? Is the Defendant in jail or out on bond?

No. Felony convictions can't be sealed or expunged in Texas, short of a pardon from the Governor.
