Served as lead counsel in high-profile cases involving toxic mold, nursing home liability, Fen-Phen diet pills, Firestone tires, HIV-AIDS, Title VII violations, the Starplex Amphitheater wall collapse in Dallas, leaks at the Lowes-Anatole Hotel in Dallas, an explosion at the FINA Oil and Chemical Company Plant in Beaumont, crippling injuries at the Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant in Glen Rose, and a tragic death of a miner at the Superconducting Supercollider Project in Waxahachie.
Served as consultant for New York company involved in multiple studies on the effectiveness of alternative dispute resolution and the management of legal costs. Served as consultant for national insurer on the development of a National Alternative Dispute Resolution Program.
Served as consultant for national insurer on multiple premises liability issues, including the necessity for barricade protection arising from the Oct. 16, 1991 fatal shootings at the Luby's Cafeteria in Killeen, Texas.
Represented national insurer in the multiple fatality storage tank explosion case that defined the Texas standard for the “anticipation of litigation” investigative privilege. Nat’l Tank Co. v. Brotherton (Tex. 1993).
Represented industrial machinery manufacturer in multiple product liability lawsuits filed in Texas, Michigan, Arkansas, Mississippi, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New Hampshire.
