Paid Chris (claims at a discounted rate) to help with a divorce and received nothing out of it. Had done a discovery and had a temporary (rule 11 agreement) only to find out that no official discovery was done nor was the order made official only for him to tell us that he is leaving his firm a day a...fter final trial was scheduled and he will not be able to help us. It makes me wonder what was it that he actually did that caused us to spend money on him when nothing was accomplished. Just a money grab. Not sure if he even left his firm.

I can't say enough about what a great experience Mr. Chris Villareal with MZ law provided. In moments where there was so much uncertainty with my divorce he helped with my case in keeping me on point, offering expert advice and helping keep my costs low. If I didn't need it he didn't recommend it and... his ability to not only do his job well but also to be so candid and professional was a breath of fresh air. Anyone who has found themselves in the unfortunate position of getting a divorce, do not look any further than Chris Villarreal of McFerrin & Zayed, PLLC. I'm sure I don't speak for myself when saying this, but there's a huge difference between giving u...p and knowing when you've had enough. The hardest part of the process is knowing it's time to get a divorce. Typically the second hardest is finding the best lawyer to represent you. Chris came highly (and I mean HIGHLY) recommended and I couldn't be happier. From our very first phone call, I knew I had made the right decision. I immediately felt relaxed; as if I was speaking to a best friend. Chris explained the process in such a way that was easy to understand, allowed me to ask questions (even the truly dumb ones), and made me feel at ease. Chris was sympathetic to my situation, built up my confidence, and made sure that any decision made was done so in partnership with his knowledge and advice. I never felt like I was being pushed one way or the other into a decision I wasn't comfortable with; I never EVER felt as if I was just a paycheck to him - I was a person first, and his client second. He was there when I needed reassurance or when I was scared. Jackie was there to answer questions and was swift to reply. I can't say enough about the whole experience.
