I began practicing law as a criminal defense attorney in 2007. Through the years, I've worked as a public defender, a prosecutor, and ultimately in private practice. I've handled tens of thousands of cases, and completed over 160 jury trials. I have tried (and won) cases with the most serious charges possible, including murder and sexual assault. These days, my work primarily focuses on DWIs and Family Violence cases. I have tons of experience in those two areas. I was able to get a first class education on the science behind DWI, which has helped to better defend against those charges. And my extensive experience with family violence cases comes from living and working in an area where the police prosecute a much higher than average number of never-should-have-been-filed, bogus assault charges. I make myself very available to clients and return calls promptly, to ensure that my clients have actual access to their attorney. I make sure my clients are informed at every stage, and I bring them into the decision-making process of the case.
