Inadequate representation

Jesse Shoemaker, intentionally abandoned his representation leaving me in Finacial complications. Mr. Shoemaker’s representation was assigned to y cause, I first met with him, he explained his plan. However , taking into consideration he is a young new attorney, with minimal if any actual experienc...e , Mr.Shoemaker misinformed my family and supporters along with myself, while I awaited my bail to be posted, he failed to consider my request to file a bail reduction hearing. My bail was posted for $60.000.00 for a misdemeanor, low level charge. While waiting Mr. Shoemaker was apparently at a hearing to my knowledge to either have me released on PR bond or case dismissed, my friends and supporters showed up only to be told they did not have to be there. When I finally spoke with Shoemaker, I repeated his words to me, “if you have any witnesses who can be at the hearing , have them show up” . Mr. Shoemaker was not even knowledgeable my bail has been posted which left those who assisted and waited until 2400 hours (12 midnight) everyday after bail was posted , only to be left waiting. I wasn’t released until 9 dats later after bail has been posted and verified. During the morning I was going to finally be released with a gps monitor, I am transported to court, I speak with shoemaker and ask why am I here? My bond was posted days ago and they told me it was my lawyer who needed to make arrangements with monitoring company so they could provide the monitor. He then tells me, I know nothing of this , he then lays this upon me, I have out off this hearing for a future day! Knowing I’m in custody, he shows no concern for my release and responsibilities to my family as the provider... he was going to let me remain in custody. If I had no resources to post bail, I would remain in custody! He had no idea I had posted bond..Mr. Shoemaker had not applied my rights to speedy trial nor was he straight forward to me and those who supported and took time from their lives to help. I speak to him after I’m finally home, he say Monday, I will file motion to modify conditions of conditions, 6 to 6 curfew prevented me from working my profession because the program fails to ask or to take into consideration people need travel time to and from work! My job 1 1/2 hours drive 3 hours both ways depending on traffic. Mr .Shoemaker request letter from superiors that support the request to modify, he received letter, I’m set up for my titles project and work, only to receive via text, Shoemaker asked me to respond if I want him to continue as council or not! I respond yes. Then I receive what I see as blackmail, he states he is going to withdraw from counsel, and once I sign his document, and only after he receives signed doc will he then file the motion. I did not sign , he withdrew and sent me copies of both his motion to withdraw and the Judges order granting his request! He based his motion on I had hired attorney. Which I had not. 4 months has passed , I have lost several contracted projects to work, and have depleted my savings along with being in the negative with my bank along with having to pay weekly for gps monitor. And if you can’t pay or don’t you go back to jail and in top of that I lose a $60,000..00 plus bail. Because of this, the courts believed I had counsel, They could not help me, after months of trying to see how I can get in front of judge , I finally was able to have an attorney assigned to my case, he went in court at the time he said he would, a Monday, and 30 minutes later , he actually had the gps removed in 30 minutes! 4 months later ! I’m still out if work and homeless with no funds and a pile of bills because Mr Shoemaker lacked integrity and honor to follow through with what he said he would do! Once again I take into consideration his new plight in life, but it is clear, he had no fight in him , no passion , no concern for a client at all, and certainly no motivation, in upholding the bars standards.
