Very unprofessional

WORSE LAWYER EVER! Never responds and didn’t specify anything about the case. Does not respond even after multiple calls and messages. Him and his team all lack professional. Once he takes your money you don’t hear from him again. Would not recommend.

Custody Assistance (single Father)

Mr Ball, was able to help me maintain and expand my rights as a father who lives in a different state. He understands Active Military and federal employees and the schedules. Very capable. I had some disconnects in communication as we both had very hectic schedules but I had full faith in his ability... and it proved to be well placed. Excellent Lawyer

Unreliable and unresponsive.

I am very disappointed with this attorney. He is very unprofessional and unreliable in regards to being responsive in a timely manner. I would always need to call him multiple times and email him just as many times in order to get a reply from him. He once missed a court date while I was out of the c...ountry and I nearly had a bench warrant issued for me because of that. I informed him such actions were unacceptable and he didn't apologize directly, just gave me some lame excuse about dropping the ball and promising to not let that happen again. Well, that just happened again today. He failed to show up in court again and failed to even answer my calls or emails. For some reason, he doesn't even have his staff contact clients on his behalf and I had no way of even reaching his office. He finally managed to send me an email when I informed him his services were no longer required. No apology whatsoever for having wasted my morning by not doing his job. He basically just let me know he had a more important client to take care of. His word of mouth might be ok, but it's apparently gotten to his head and is not the professional he should be. If your case is high profile and you'll be throwing a lot of money his way, then maybe he will try to work hard for you.

What this client fails to mention is he left the country with his case pending, and he is the one that missed the Court date. I ended up getting the warrant recalled for his failure to appear and he entered the country fine. The day I did miss his hearing I was in a murder trial and the client was notified. What the client also fails to mention is his was a no win DWI case which he ultimately pleaded guilty to.

Knowledgeable and Professional

Mr. Ball is perhaps one of the best criminal defense attorneys in the Rio Grande Valley. Was charged with a Class B misdemeanor. Through his legal experience, he was able to quash the charge, even before we went to trial. This was due to procedural issues in the case presented by the State. Not only ...was he able to identify the issue, his professionalism provided me with the confidence knowing that I was in good hands. He is also board certified in Criminal Law, therefore he is very savvy in this particular area of law. If you are looking for a criminal defense attorney and/or have questioned whether you should hire Mr. Ball, do not hesitate as he is the one to go to. I have had no issue also referring my own family to Mr. Ball as I trust him very much.
