Carlos Miguel Yzaguirre

Carlos grew up in the Rio Grande Valley.  He graduated from McAllen Memorial High School, and attended Tulane University and St. Mary's University for undergraduate studies.  He majored in English, and still loves reading in his spare time.  After graduating from St. Mary's Law School, Carlos moved home to practice law.  He met his wife in San Miguel de Allende while vacationing one year, and the two were married in 2007.  They live in McAllen with their two kids, and their dog.

Carlos is licensed to practice law before all state courts in Texas (2003) and Colorado (2016), the United States District Courts for the Southern and Western Districts of Texas, the United States Bankruptcy Courts for said districts, and the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals.  He has successfully litigated a broad range of civil cases, on both sides of the docket.  His practice has evolved in recent years, and now focuses almost exclusively on bad faith insurance claims.  Carlos thoroughly enjoys helping homeowners and business owners who have been cheated out of money rightfully owed to them by their insurance companies to repair damage to their property after storm, fire, or other covered loss.
