There is nothing worse than getting a divorce and then having to worry about custody issues on top of it. Donna has been through my divorce and custody case, taken my calls - multiple times in a week, sometimes with me in tears, and handled everything so professionally. Not only has she been a tremen...dous attorney for us, we leave every appt knowing she genuinely cares about us - most importantly, she cares about the well being of my children, and I couldn't ask for more than that!

She never answeres he phone calls. And when you do talk to her she rushes you off the phone. She wants me to be ok with sending my son with her mom when she just got kicked out of 2 rehabs. If I would have read the below posts I would have never hired her. I paid her $3000 and all she did was come up... with excuses as to why we cants go to court. Been waiting to go to court for 4 months now. If anyone knows a good lawyer let me know because it’s not her.

If you know nothing about the law, do NOT hire her; if you do know something about law, do NOT hire her! You will be greeted at her house door, not office with "Shut up Daisy, Shut Up!" . Daisy is her dog. There is no office outside her home office; and no other employees, i.e. attorneys or staff ...to assist despite her advertisement referring to "we". If you do hire her, document everything! My phone calls were not returned in a timely manner, my legal documents were not prepared in a timely manner.

I always recommend Atty. Donna Kay Leonard to anyone that has family issues: divorce, adoption, custody, modification of child support, or visitations. I have known Ms. Leonard since 2004 and for every instance that I have needed a "family law expert" it is to Ms. Donna Kay Leonard that I turn to an...d recommend highly. Ms. Leonard immediately gets to the problem and puts out the law references that she will apply and thus gets the case resolved. She has done excellent work in returning the children to the proper parent; has been able to modify the child support to where it is fair; the children that needed her defense are safe and in a good loving home with caring parents; I just cannot say enough good results for Ms. Leonard, I am so glad that I met her and besides being an excellent attorney, she makes the very best friend you would like to be associated with!!!!!

I have nothing but high marks for Donna K. Leonard. I normally do not give 5 stars but in this particular case I will explain. I was in a very bad marriage and in dire need of an attorney. Ms Leonard came Highly recommended for her experience in family law, her compassion for the client, and un...like many attorneys Ms Leonard has a Flat Fee. Donna K. Leonard was persistent in seeking justice and fairness in my case. Ms Leonard went above and beyond on my case by keeping me updated by email and phone. Ms Leonard went the "extra mile" by writing letters in my behalf, hand walking real estate documents to the county clerks office to be filed in a timely manner. Donna K. Leonard fully represents her clients!
