Matthew T. Allen

Matthew Allen is a fantastic lawyer who does the work required to be an excellent advocate. He is always prepared before, during and after trial. He is not in this job for the money and truly cares about justice for his clients. He returns emails, phone calls and always shows up to court on time. You... cannot go wrong with Mr. Allen. He is a fantastic attorney, especially with his new partner Guillermo Lara. They are an excellent match!

Appointed by the courts but defending like he received a million. He was waiting for me at a totally different appointment I had just to introduce himself. He has been and gone from every court date I've had leaving a trail of actions that had me giving him my upmost respect. I faced 2 very serious c...harges and when I told him I was not guilty that the evidence was altered he didn't even act like he didn't believe me. He took what I told him and this morning he came to me sit down beside me and said charges dismissed. What a hell of a lawyer and person.

I arrested almost 3 years ago in San Antonio for misdemeanor theft from Walmart. Matthew Allen was appointed to me by the court due to insufficient funds. Before I realized I had been appointed a attorney, Matt was already visiting me. At first glance he seemed like a rookie to the court system beca...use of his young looks but, dont let those looks fool you. Matt can easily outmanuever whatever challenge is laid in front of him. He said "chris, I will do everything in my power to get you a PR bond but, I cant promise anything". That exact same day he delivered and I was released the following morning. Another time I was arrested in Houston, Matt found out I was there before I could even tell him. He then got in contact with me and started preparing the San Antonio case for when I was eventually transferred. The rest of my interactions with him have ended in a similar fashion. The most admirable quality of Matt is the loyality he shows his clients. I never once worried about him not showing up to court or fufilling a promise that he makes. Lawyers often tell you what you want to hear to get there way. Matt is completely the opposite, you can bet if im ever in jail again Matt is going to be the first person I call.
