The legal system is not what it seems on television. Television would have you believe that only guilty people get arrested, charged and convicted, but that is simply not true. When I was younger, my father instilled in me many lessons, but one has stuck with me for decades. "Do for others who cannot do for themselves." To some people this means giving money, donating clothes or food, etc. For me, this means helping people who've been caught up in this legal net and cannot get out on their own.
