My work in this area of practice involves many specialized legal areas, including military personnel law, government information practices, investigations, relationships with private organizations, regulatory law, intellectual property law, and government ethics.

As a Judge Advocate, I have assisted and advised military clients, their dependents, and military retirees on all manners of personal legal problems in the general practice area. I have practiced Family Law; Immigration Law; Estate Planning; Consumer Law; Tax Law; Landlord-Tenant Law; and I have advised on traffic law matters and small claims court appearances.

In addition to advising commanders about appropriate disciplinary action, I have been a prosecutor before courts-martial, a military magistrate hearing motions for pre-trial confinement or search authorization, and a Special Assistant US Attorney prosecuting misdemeanor cases in federal court.

I have advised health care providers and military commanders about professional credentialing and discipline, patient rights and privacy, human and animal subjects research, risk management, medical malpractice, and state laws that affect military medical practice.
