Airplane pilot with instrument rating (plus time in helicopters and sailplanes), former Civil Air Patrol officer, amateur radio operator (HAM), Master Scuba Diver (Professional Associaiton of Diving Instructors (PADI)), traveled widely in Western Europe, UK, Russia (and former USSR), People's Republic of China, Japan, Hong Kong, South and Central America, Northern and West Africa, Cuba, India, Southeast Asia (Viet Nam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand), Cuba, and Nepal.
My wife and I enjoy flying, travelling, sailing, scuba diving, skiing and other active sports, but my passion is woodworking (made my office desk, return, credenza, plus furniture for my daughers - changing table, crib, high-chair etc.). Plus restoring my 1947 Harley Flat Head w/ hand shift, and 1970 Karman Ghia coupe.
