Don't Use This Attorney

I paid for an uncontested divorce. The firm issued a waiver for my spouse to sign. But, the language was so inflammatory that no one should sign it. We had no assets, no property and no children. We agreed to change the language. Next, the firm tried to change the divorce to contested because w...e agreed to change the harmful language they tried to coerce us into signing. This firm charged me fees and the whole time they were trying to force me into a contested divorce.

"I was Liz McLaughlin's opposing counsel on a difficult family law matter that was recently concluded. She is a very aggressive and knowledgeable attorney who fights zealously for her clients, yet maintains a professional demeanor that makes her a credit to her profession. I am, therefore, proud to enthusiastically endorse Mary Elizabeth McLaughlin, a very reputable member of the San Antonio legal community."
