One of the true "Good Guys"

I had used Brian Knowlton as a lawyer in my business for about a year dealing with intellectual property and copyright issues; with much satisfaction, unfortunitly I found myself in a divorce situation and I asked for Brian's assistance. After the completion of Brian's degree he mentored with some o...f the finest lawyers family law attorneys and he decided to make this area of law his speciality; wow, the man knows his stuff. My case and divorce was easy and completed in record time- Brian personally took the time with me so that every detail was covered- neiogated with the other side in expert fashion so that drama and emotionally roadblocks were avoided, and presented a winning deal to both parties- I could not be happier.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
