I am extremely pleased with Matthew Gossen. He is a very practical and straight forward person. My consultation with him was enough to want to hire him. I do so immediately! The misdemeanor I was facing was going to inevitably cost me community service, defensive driving courses, and most inconvenien...t of all… six months of probation. Matthew advised me to complete an aggressive driving course and donate my community service prior to our scheduled court date. Along the way he contacted me several times with new or changing information regarding my case and or his plan of action via E-mail, phone, and text. Mr. Gossens plan was to request a one day probation considering I had taken care of my obligations and was willing to pay any fees required, immediately. This was a huge request since I had a prior offence. He spoke to the judge in a manner that presented me in a good light and the judge approved the one day probation. I paid my dues to the court and I was able to walk away with a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. This was only the FIRST time Mr. Gossen represented me: After receiving a state felony, and to my embarrassment having to spend 16 hours in detention, I consulted with Mr. Gossen about what it was that I could do? I was told by others that I would most likely receive deferred adjudication.
