This law office is no good. Paid $1000 up front and Jennifer Janis didn’t do anything but make a few phone calls and send me a few emails. Didn’t do anything for me or to help me. Then quit, said she was removing herself from my case and sent me a bill a week later for $960. Literally just a free mon...ey... meanwhile I’m still in the Same spot $1000 more in dept smh is this legal?

My experience with Amy Eubanks Perkins was terrible. She just wanted to get the case in and out and get paid. I was in a psychologically, emotionally, and spiritually abusive relationship and desperately needed out and needed advice on how to efficiently and effectively protect my son’s and my life. ...She assured me she had experience in this area when she clearly did not. Even after I explained the dynamic of my marriage and parenting, she kept advising me to accept 50/50 custody. She was embarrassingly unprofessional, even in front of my ex, spoke down to me in front of my ex on two occasions, charged me for her mistakes, and did not respond to scary situations that happened during the filing process. She did not advise me well at all and left me in a vulnerable and awful position to win majority custody of my son and with the sale of my home. I felt unheard, invalidated, and ignored. Luckily I was able to come out on top after firing her and hiring a different lawyer. My current lawyer has fought for what I needed and has advised me of options along the way. She takes time with me. She speaks to me respectfully and as an equal as I am a professional as well. I now have majority custody of my son and I am much more hopeful for his future than I was with that lawyer. I’m so happy I did not continue with Miss Perkins.
