Yes, you can get a joint sponsor. They must be either a US citizen or a permanent resident.

Wait a few more weeks. If you don't receive anything from the National Visa Center, an attorney can send USCIS and the NVC an inquiry and find out...

To be safe you can file the taxes right away as married with th ITIN. Then once the EAR or LPR card arrives she can apply for her social security...

The answer is no. If you don't work or earn income, then you are not required to file an income tax return.
