Unprofessional

Jason is receptive in the beginning. As my case Persisted it became harder to contact him. He left me there in court with a No Show Attorney!! He never replied or even contacted me to tell me he wasn't showing up. My case had to be reset four times because Mr. Galvan never showed. He made excuse a...fter excuse. My case was never resolved. He changed his number without notifying me. When you call his office he doesn't return messages or emails! He was inappropriate at times. Sending random text messages at different hours of the night. He made me feel uncomfortable. Attorneys like this should be counter sued. For not finishing the job. And sexual harassment. I would never refer him or use him again!

Unreliable

I should have dropped this attorney after he sent me unprofessional messages with some flirtations but I didn't have the financial luxury to do so at the time. Over the course of a year, he was seldomly able to be contacted, which was weird because initially he was easy to contact. However, from one... day to the next he chose to not respond to any of my calls or texts. The court had to reset many of my court dates due to his failure to appear. After almost a year of this nonsense, my case was eventually settled through another attorney. In all, during my experience with Mr. Galvan he basically only exhibited very poor character.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
